BAT-IG Celebrates First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at 66, Hails Her Grassroots Impact

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) felicitates the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on the occasion of her 66th birthday, celebrating a woman whose years of public service have been defined by compassion, resilience and a strong connection with the grassroots.

From her years as a Senator and First Lady of Lagos State to her present status as First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has continued to demonstrate a commitment to people-centred services.

Through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), she has championed interventions in women’s economic empowerment, education, healthcare, agriculture and social investment, reaching families and communities across the country.

Her recent intervention for families of fallen military and police personnel is another example of this commitment. The ₦819 million support for 1,638 widows of fallen security personnel demonstrates her continued attention to Nigerians and families who need support at critical moments.

For BAT-IG, the significance of Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s work lies not only in the number of programmes implemented but in the people reached and the hope restored through them.

She has become a visible symbol of the people-centred dimension of the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly among women, families, young Nigerians and vulnerable groups.

Indeed, when one considers the superlative reach of her interventions and initiatives, it becomes clear that her impact extends into millions of Nigerian homes, directly and indirectly.

Her approach has also earned her a distinctive place in Nigeria’s political and social history. As she continues to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and champion initiatives that connect government programmes with ordinary Nigerians, her role remains significant in strengthening the relationship between governance and the grassroots.

It is in this spirit that BAT-IG joins Nigerians to celebrate what we may playfully describe as “Our Mama Be This” spirit: a recognition of a First Lady whose name has become associated with care, empowerment, advocacy and service to the people.

On this special occasion, BAT-IG wishes Senator Oluremi Tinubu many more years of good health, wisdom, strength, grace and continued exhibition of heart of gold.

May God continue to strengthen her, guide her and grant her the capacity to reach even more Nigerians through service and compassion.
