Toronto-based gold miner, Wallbridge Mining Company Limited is seeking shareholder approval for a 1-for-20 share consolidation and a corporate name change to Sunday Lake Gold Corp.
The special meeting of shareholders is scheduled for September 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time, to be conducted via live webcast.
Wallbridge currently has 1,830,849,901 common shares issued and outstanding. If the consolidation is approved on a one-for-20 basis, that number would drop to 91,542,495 shares.
The company said the primary reasons for the share consolidation are “to increase the Company's flexibility and competitiveness in the market and to make the Company's securities more attractive to a wider audience of potential investors.”
The board also believes a name change to Sunday Lake Gold Corp. would better reflect the company’s strategic focus on the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone in Québec’s Abitibi Greenstone Belt.
Wallbridge controls a contiguous 598-square-kilometre land package that extends roughly 82 kilometres along the Detour-Fenelon gold trend. That property includes its flagship Fenelon Gold Project, which is currently at the preliminary economic assessment stage, as well as the earlier-stage Martiniere Gold Project.
The company’s Fenelon project is located approximately 75 kilometres west-northwest of Matagami in Québec’s Nord-du-Québec region. It sits along the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone, a major structural break that also hosts Agnico Eagle’s large Detour Lake open-pit gold mine in Ontario.
Both the share consolidation and the name change remain subject to shareholder approval and all applicable regulatory approvals. The board has unanimously recommended that shareholders vote in favour of the proposals.
Shareholders can access meeting materials on the company’s website, at docs.tsxtrust.com/2016, and on SEDAR+. The webcast password is wallbridge2026.
